HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?
If, for any reason, your The Houndry dog bed doesn’t meet your expectations, return it to us for a complete refund, less return shipping, within 30 days of ship date. Simply contact us for a Return Authorization at 888-221-7639 or email us at hello@thehoundrylife.com. Used beds will not be refunded. Normal wear and tear, chewing or other damage caused by a pet does not qualify for a refund.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
We manufacture each dog bed one by one - no warehouse full of mass-produced products waiting for your order. Normally, it can take up to 28 days to complete a dog bed, but due to higher demand we ask that you allow 6-8 weeks for your beds to be made and ready to ship. All orders ship via FedEx ground. We’ll email you the tracking information on the day it ships.
WHAT IF MY PET DOESN’T ‘LIKE’ THEIR BED?
Note that not all pets are used to sleeping on a bed, especially a new one. It often helps entice them to make it smell more like you. We recommend stuffing an old t-shirt of yours into the cover of the bed so that your scent is on it. And give it time! It may take a few weeks for them to become accustomed to the texture of the fabric and shifting of the inner fill.
WHAT DOES MY WARRANTY COVER?
We take pride in manufacturing a quality product in an American factory and warranty our products to be free of manufacturing defects for one year. It just so happens that making products by hand is more of an art than a science. Defects sometimes happen. If a seam or zipper fails, please contact us at 888-221-7639 or email us at hello@thehoundrylife.com. After asking for a photo of the defect to identify the issue, we will repair or replace the defect. Please note that normal wear and tear, chewing or other damage caused by a pet does not qualify for a warranty claim.
HOW DO I ORDER A REPLACEMENT FABRIC COVER OR INSERT?
Not a problem! Simply shoot us an email letting us know what type of bed you originally purchased (Hugger/Lounger/Pillow/Round) and what size and we can set it up for you to purchase on our website’s hidden store. Contact us at hello@thehoudrylife.com
HOW DO I WASH MY PET BED?
Remove the fabric cover from the bed and wash the cover in cold water in the washing machine. Remove and let air dry. Since we use Sunbrella fabric, which is an indoor/outdoor performance fabric, it dries quite quickly on its own. Do not wash the insert of the bed. For particularly stubborn stains, see Sunbrella’s care instructions HERE. If fabric has some wrinkling, use an iron on the synthetic setting. As iron temperatures may vary, first test a small inconspicuous area before ironing the entire piece. DO NOT use a steamer or an iron set to the steam setting.
